ANSWER: yes it is extremely sturdy and really good quality. no there is not a matching ottoman because it reclines back and the bottom of the chair rises to act as an ottoman. I am extremely pleased with this furniture. i have had it for a couple of years and it still looks new by F R 12/4/2011
ANSWER: It is sturdy and nice looking. The color was not what we expected but it still worked. It is comfortable for sitting but not a chair you can curl up and be really comfortable in. There is a matching ottoman and you can get it in a recliner. If you are looking for comfort I would purchase the recliner. by Bradley S 11/22/2011

ANSWER: I bought the loveseat and the Sinclair ottoman, which matches nicely. The cushions and frame have held up very well over the past 6 years. It is very solid and very pretty - similar to Pottery Barn's Manhattan chair. You will need to condition the leather pretty frequently to keep it soft. by J E 11/21/2011
ANSWER: it is a VERY sturdy chair we have two and i sit in one for several hours a day in my home office as its more comfortable than sitting at my desk !
Same goes for the Ottomans - HIGH QUALITY . We bought TWO ottomans to match the TWO chairs.
High quality, holding up VERY VERY VERY well we also went w/ the down seat cushion.
We are considering purchasing more !

ANSWER: I have the couch of the same style which I purchased in 2007. It's comfortable and has held up very well with 3 kids and a dog. It was much less expensive than similar couches at other furniture stores and catalog vendors, but looks just as good and is very comfortable. I expect that it'll hold out for another decade at the least. by T E 11/21/2011
ANSWER: Yes this is a sturdy very good looking chair. I bought mine about 2 years ago and am still very pleased with the comfort, style, and look. I bought the matching ottoman as well.

ANSWER: Chair and leather are very sturdy - we've had ours for over 5 years and it has held up great with 2 kids and 2 dogs. The only concern is that it's a little "deep" for a chair seat cushion is long but not an issue for people that are tall. People have fallen asleep in the chair! If you are of average height or petite, your feet will not touch the ground if sitting upright. I do not remember if an ottoman was available or not since our chair is a recliner model.
