QUESTION: What is the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 fabric? by Dean B 11/9/2011

STAFF ANSWER: The Tier 1 leathers have a man-made topical treatment applied that resists staining and scratching perfect for homes with pets and children while the Tier 2 leathers have a more natural waxy finish that will show surface scratches a little nicer leather lustre than the Tier 1 leathers. There is no durability difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 leathers. by Jeffrey K 11/9/2011

ANSWER: I would say the seat is medium firm. It's not hard like sitting on a door nor is it so soft that you just squish down in it. It's comfortably just right. In fact, the overall comfort of the sofa is excellent. Delightful to sit on or to take a quiet nap on. Definitely excellent quality that I expect to last a lifetime. ANSWER: We bought two/twin Chesterfield sofas in the upgraded leather. I love them. I would call the firmness "medium" with some give and squishiness. They are very comfortable. We use them in our livingroom which is NOT our main hangout/tv watching room. They are elegant, rich looking, and still, I would say, very comfortable. I think they will last a very long time. I have no regrets with this purchase. I was confident in Club Furniture in that we had previously purchased a slipcovered sofa and love seat several years ago which are still in great shape for a different room. by N A 1/1/2011
