Queen beds are a vastly popular bed size amongst Americans. Sometimes deciding exactly where that bed can fit in your bedroom might cause some people to loose sleep. According to an interior design expert, square rooms are the easiest when it comes to space for your queen. Place your bed in the center of the wall you would consider to be the “top” of your square. For long and narrow rooms place your bed perpendicular to the to length of the room, but still leave some room for bedside tables. The other end of your room can be used as a designated work space separate from your sleep area. For L shaped rooms place your bed in the “foot” of the L. This can isolate your sleep space so the other parts of the room do not interfere. If you are dealing with a room with multiple entry ways treat it as if it is still a square room and follow those same directions. Don’t forget to leave room for the night stands!
