QUESTION: I am short, 5'2", and find that many sofas are too big for me. I also need a more firm sitting cushion, otherwise I get a back ache. Is this sofa firm and is it good for short people? by None N 2/24/2011

ANSWER: I am 5'4" and have lower back problems myself. I keep pillows on my sofa and always just put one at the small of my back, and then I'm comfortable. Without it there my lower back doesn't reach the back of the sofa, so after a while it starts to hurt. My feet do touch the ground though! The sofa itself is supper comfortable. It's great to take a nap on! We selected the softest option, so I can't answer how firm the firm choice would be. I should add that we are very happy with how well made our sofa is! by J F 3/12/2011
