STAFF ANSWER: Our Tier 1 leathers have a man-made topical treatment applied to them so that they resist staining and scratching. This top-coat gives them a semi-matte finish. Our Tier 2 leathers have a natural waxy finish that will show scratches easily buffed out and offer a richer leather lustre. ANSWER: It is firm simply due to the fact that it is a chesterfield style, however the love seat is too short in length to be a sleeper or to take a nap in. Better to get the full size for naps ! by Francis M 8/29/2011

I just measured my mattress, and it is definitely 70 inches long. From the base of the headrest to the tip of the mattress measures 76 inches.
I got the couch in the Sumatra leather, and am very happy with both the quality and the color. Very soft & rich. This is a really great piece. I'd highly recommend. by Britt D 8/4/2011

ANSWER: I haven't slept a full night on it myself but in trying it it felt comfortable. However, I did have two VERY picky relatives stay the night one night and they were THRILLED by it.
