ANSWER: Hi--We love the couch--very sturdy and comfortable. I've never slept on it but our guests have said it's pretty comfortable for a sofa bed. And yes the greatest thing is all pillows are removable and everything is washable--we have white and it's cleaned up very well and easy to remove/put back on. Hope it helps! by D A 1/31/2011
